Marriages

1. Do NOT settle on a date without first contacting the parish
2. Parishioners have precedence
3. Parishioners choosing other Catholic Churches will need to arrange for a Priest to conduct the ceremony
4. 6 months notice required. 12 months or more if there has been a previous marriage.
5. Marriages in places other than a Church require permission from the Diocesan Authorities. – Not granted freely
6. Documents Required: Baptismal Certificate, Birth Certificate
7. All couples are asked to attend a pre-marriage course – Details from the Parish
8. Decorations, Music etc to be arranged with the celebrant
9. Actual ceremony to be arranged with the Celebrant.
